What is most important in improving your English?

My answer to this question would be...LISTENING.
There is no point in starting your English course with a grammar book.  You will easily get disinterested.  Listening is the only solution for those who want to learn English without getting tired.  So we should begin at the beginning.

You must have heard about the four skills in language learning.  They are LSRW.  Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.  In that order.  Because a first language is learned in that order.  So that is the most natural course you can follow.  A baby listens in his/her first few years and than only starts speaking.  Language is primarily auditory.

So the first thing I have done is to add a widget to this blog that will help you listen to good English.  Go to the right bottom of this page and listen to the audio of BBC World by clicking the 'Listen Live' button.  You will not only improve your language, but also your general awareness.
